YHA is a highly rated establishment by the English Tourist Board for a number of reasons. They are
situated in the heart of London close to two central railway stations-Euston and St Pancreas, both
of which have underground links as well. Being in the centre there are also reliable and frequent
buses covering all the tourist high spots like the British Museum, Oxford Street, Leicester Square
and the London University area.
The hostel itself is warm, clean and comfortable. Although the rooms are bit on the small side, they
are furnished with up-to-date furniture. The establishment has dorm rooms that sleep six-they don't
have private single or double rooms. This is absolutely ideal if you want to spend time with your friends and don't mind sharing.
A reasonably priced and really filling breakfast is available with a choice of hot and cold buffets.
Other advantages of this hostel are the 24 hour reception, no curfews, comfortable non-smoking lounge,
Satellite TV, air conditioning, and internet access.
This hostel is situated close to Islington Borough and, should you get bored of sight-seeing, you can
travel a short distance where you will find a number inexpensive restaurants, clubs, pubs, bars, shops
and even a multi-plex cinema. Also nearby is the very lively and trendy area of Camden Town which is
well known for its artistic and pop culture and has London's best weekend market.
