The Creeps “a sticky situation” on Hard
How to beat “a sticky situation” on hard.
The main difficulty in this level is that there is a large creep at both round 40 and 45 but there isn’t usually enough time to recharge the spider between the two.
What this means is that you will have to trigger the spider midway through stage 39.
Now to recap how I get there. All my defenses are on the left half of the screen. This allows just a little extra time for the spider to recharge.
When I beat this level, I only had to sell two creeps in order to completely level up the last flashlight.
I have included a rough chart at the bottom of this post to suggest where to put your defenses.
Start by placing a laser creep on the bottom by the bend in the road, straight down below the bed. Immediately level it up once and then start blasting the little rocks and to the left and to the right. Either just before or just after you finish the first rock, you will need to shoot through the group of creeps that have come up on you. As you finish the second rock you will be able to upgrade completely. be sure to get through all the creeps as they go by.
Add a second laser defense to the open space 2 squares below the spider and one to the left. Now start shooting the big middle trees and stones one at a time in between taking out creeps. (start with the one in the middle above the first defender you placed)
As soon as you can, you will need to add a boomerang defender directly below the spider just above the lower road. You will eventually add another one directly to its right.
To the left will be a flashlight and eventually directly below it as well. to the left of the lower flashlight I have placed the third laser defender.
Note that in order to get the second flashlight, I had to sell the first two flashlights.
